I think that this would be a good book to inspire absolute newbs.
As someone who is civically active, I found myself agreeing with a lot of what the authors had to say.
I am not going to finish this book because I am not it's audience.
If you know someone or if you need to know how to be politically useful, give this book a good read or pick up a copy for someone who needs it.

I don't want this book to end, but I also can't put it down.
I keep wanting to save some so that it lasts longer, though.
This is the kind of book that introduces the love for reading to someone, as well as the kind of story that fiction lovers are always trying to find.

Not going to finish.
The detective isnt the interesting character that the author thinks she is, and we dont need a play by play on how she views a file, her marriage, her childhood...
We want to know about the victim, who's part of the story doesn't seem to be as important as the detective's.
Not going to finish.

It's a good book for an adolescent going through a physical change that their peers are not going through.
And I'm not surprised it was on the challenged book list because heaven forbid a girl want to know about her body.

Absolutely lovely and a very historically accurate and educational fictional story that brings you right into the time that it was written about. The characters are wonderful, and it makes me hope that they were just as loveable and as close of friends as they were written to be.

I'm surprised that I'm enjoying it, because it reads similarly to that of a Stephen King novel. I keep waiting to find out that the shark has Telekinesis.

I might be enjoying it because I saw the movie 50 Billion times when I was a kid and there's a bit more story to the characters.
I'm not so sure I'd care about the characters, or their stories, if I hadn't seen the movie.
Anyway, fun read.

Dear Fannie Flag,
In this day and age we refer to people of 4'10" and under as "Little Person" not the M word, as that is derogatory and rude. I am not a little person but I am a Gypsy, which is spelled with a capital G. We are an ethnicity and any other use of the word that is not referring to our specific people is racist.
I do hope that this book redeems your character and acknowledges the poor choice of words.

I'd like to never see the words "Twirling Dervish" in print again. 1,000,000 times within the first 27 pages of any book is far more than enough.
It is not cute or funny. It is over done and gratuitous.

I feel like my review will be a spoiler, so I'll just say that I enjoyed that it was different but that we were in the same world as the first 3 so it was relatively familiar and was a comfortable read, albeit a bit darker than what I expected.
