This book is riddled with typos and uses the phrase “girded her loins” way too much. More than zero is too much, but I’m only 1/3rd in and it’s already been used twice. I’m concerned.

Shaena Walker is reading Stillhouse Lake (Stillhouse Lake, #1)
This book got off to a slow start but picked way up about halfway through. I enjoyed it but found some of the characters slightly and parts of the plot unrealistic. That being said, when the action finally picked up this book was hard to put down.
