I got this for our school library and am excited to finally read it for myself!

I wish I brought the print book with me for the summer because the publisher did a TERRIBLE job at reformatting this for an ebook. The font is so small and very pale gray.

Reading this at the recommendation of a coworker. It is safe to say we have very different tastes 😬

I borrowed this without even reading the blurb because I thought the cover was gorgeous…fingers crossed!

Am I reading the same book as other people?! I'm no prude, but I'm really shocked that this book is YA with age recommendations of ages 13-14+.

There is so much in this book that screams “fantasy version of The Hunger Games.” Currently learning about Tealah, and all I can think of is Caesar Flickerman with his blue hair and bright white teeth while interviewing tributes.

I had to return this book to the library after repeatedly renewing it because there is another hold, but I WILL be back one day!

This book is just...so, so good. It's one of the most engrossing things I've read in a long time.

I really wanted to stay on the subway to finish this book this morning!
