Edward is less annoying in this book with the context of his internal monologue. Still gaslightly asf. Instead of constantly telling Bella how fragile and weak she is, he should acknowledge his own inhuman strength? Framing his predatory instincts and unnatural abilities as a shortcoming on her part for being mortal (and that she's somehow responsible for catering to) is gross.
