Not sure about this book.
There's quite a few aspects to this book as it touches on ill treatment of a minority group, politics and underlying tones of abuse (physical and drug). I feel these themes aren't touched on enough throughout this book.

The romance also feels a bit lackluster. Might DNF might continue just to see if through 🤷‍♀️

So many repetitions throughout this book, it seriously pmo. Also we started with 1 murder incident and so far we're on 5 incidents like I'm actually getting tired of this cat and mouse game but it feels more like a cat and tortoise because Wwwwhhhyyyy with his oh so perfect memory can't he remember shit. Started out as 5 stars but its currently at 3 🙃

What queries me...is that when Amos' accident happened, it triggered this Hyper-T thing which makes him what he is now. BUT how come he remembers things pricesly BEFORE the accident? Like it doesn't make sense to me. Shouldn't those past memories be a bit blurry and the memories that occurred after his accident be accurate. Hmmm I dunno 😕

This was the perfect moment for the author to make the readers feel an imense loss from Saeris. Like a full on sobbing moment. Jeez. Such a reckless, irresponsible choice from both of them. Like what about Renfis or Everlayne ? She could definitely undo/break their oaths or even undo Everlaynes sickness like she did with Tal. Ugh she stay pmo

Rereading! Let's see if I can remember why I enjoyed this one

Alizeh is starting to frustrate meee. Why won't she tell Kamran to just shut up, dear lord!! Her character was so strong in book 1 but I fear, she's weakened. It feels like no one wants to get to the point of ANY conversation. It's so frustrating, that nothing really happens in this book. In ANY OF THE BOOKS UUUGGGHHH

Hmmm I am not liking this book. I know it's early but the fmc seems a bit flimsy like there's no real depth to her. I don't like the description of everything that's happened so far... I might push through to the 30% mark and see how I feel about it then.

I wanted to like this book so much but it lacked depth. The characters were flimsy, the writing subpar and repetitive and the storyline was inconsistent.

Did I mention it was repetitive? Like okay we get the point, no need to mention or ask the same thing 10 times in a chapter 🙄 So much happened in this book and yet nothing at all. Yeah this was a no from me. It was promising but it wasn't executed properly
