I identify with the main character. There is something I can't quite place that reminds me of myself in her. I am unsure if it is some personality trait she has or how she speaks or if it's just her in general.

A broader theme or reoccurrence I'm noticing in the book is running away. It seems the main character has been so hardened by her trauma that she can't seem to settle and heal. I'm predicting that part of the resolution of the story will include her healing and accepting the hardships of her life.

Currently, Theo has just discovered his wife has cheated on him. He decides not to leave her. I disagree with this sentiment. It is the ultimate form of disrespect. If his wife truly loved him it would never have happened in the first place, His old therapist I do agree with when she says "love without honesty isn't love".

I am predicting the ending of this book. While I eventually assume he will discover more of Alicia's motivations. I assume that there is going to be a repeat of what happened. The shrink will be killed by his wife in similar manner to how Gabriel was killed by Alicia.

Simon has just entered the gay bar. I think it was a little presumptuous for his friends to bring him there. I understand they were trying to get him to meet people and put himself out there. However, it seems like something that Simon should be able to do with people who share his sexuality.

The author has a very direct writing style. It reads very subject verb subject verb. While the story isn't boring; I almost find myself getting frustrated by the lack of enrichment of the story.

I find it interesting how the book is written from Patroclus's perspective. I relate to his feelings of inadequacy and his anxieties. I'd like a version from Achilles perspective too.

I felt like blue was easy to guess but also wasn't. The clues given through the emails made it obvious in a sense. However, then other little clues would distract me to make me unsure.

Right now I am wondering where Simon will go from here. Will he come out to everyone in his family? Or, will he keep to himself.

A character I disagree with is Martin Addison. He goes after Simon about morals but then is literally black mailing Simon.

I'm struggling with this book because I don't like the writing style of the author. I also don't like the main character.

This book is super long and there's a lot on each page so it's taking forever to read. It's also very wordy but I still like it.

Plot points are being resolved and questions are being answered

The story is starting to climb the hill to its climax.
