The foreword of this alone tells me so much about the deep thoughts and great thinking of the author

This is… 20 CDs long!!! Idk why I didn’t realize that when I bought it at the library’s retiring-from-circulation sale.

This is a challenging listen. It’s hella long. Sometimes the scenes move too fast for me to absorb. It’s really fucking weird and sexual and graphically disturbing.

I will persist.

My audio CD is glitching in my car so we are stuck here until I acquire a free-standing CD player and listen to disc 8 in one go.

So far this is making me think a lot—about nature and human nature. I enjoy the nature facts and was prepared for them feeling a bit unnatural as dialogue but it isn’t too bad really.The audio book is really well produced.
