important definition of oppression and oppressive violence, that oppression is anything that takes away from the experience of being human, it inherently dehumanizes. I appreciate the sentiment that liberation is inherently an act of love, and makes accessible humanity and humanization to both the oppressed and the oppressor.

Keiko is an interesting, loveable, and relatable character in my opinion- and the book is very interesting while the subject matter is surrounding the mundane and monotonous, which I think makes it more grounded 🤠
