Great cookbook (the 6 hour black daal has become my specialty dish). Entertaining prose throughout. Fans of the restaurant will not be disappointed with this cookbook.

Beth F. is 33% done with The Book of Form and Emptiness

I was drawn in from the start, but 1/3 through lost my drive to finish. Narration interesting but not sustainable.

I remain a huge fan of the author, and love her other novels.
