HOLY SHIT. Just realized that this is a story told from a Japanese Watson’s POV and we don’t meet Japanese Sherlock until halfway through.

I think I’m finally hitting my stride with this book.

I trust no man in this book. Teen or otherwise. I also don’t trust Nora.

I’m so conflicted how I feel. I’m assuming *girl name* was part of the family that lived there before. But who is “bear”? Why is the FMC talking about them all the time? Why is the male POV character so sure *child two* is *girls name* even though *girls name* family were all killed YEARS ago? Was *girls name* not killed also? The hell is going on.

Very interesting so far.

I feel like former bff did the crimes and monk was framed. And everyone is creeping on poor Yurie!

This book is so good so far. I love when I can’t figure out the ending in a good way.

Okay this is actually getting good. It’s nice to see a thriller like this where men and women are written well. Two of the characters suck as humans and one is frustrating, but I’m really starting to enjoy it!

Are you seriously telling me this is a GENERATIONAL thing? Like instead of doctors or lawyers?

I feel snarky saying this, but don’t most if not most people know “IRL” means “in real life”? Or is my millennial showing? 😂

Welp, mom is suspicious. But the group of teen girls are suspicious as well. I’m getting a slight “hot fuzz” premise, like the town doesn’t like things that make them not “perfect”. Not sure where it’s going though.

15% - Intriguing so far. Only a little bit in, and I have no idea where it’s going. I do feel that the main character, Camille, has some trauma from her home town, but I am unsure if it has to do with the missing girls atp.
