I usually try to ignore these things but I’ve found two errors/typos in the past five pages. The more obvious being that Nova changed out of her uniform and into a tank top on page 25 but her bracelet is “hidden beneath the sleeve of her uniform” on page 27.

“Does understanding her mean I have to forgive her?” OUCH.

Stop referencing horror movies like Friday the 13th if you don't even know what happens in them 😩 Jason isn't the killer in the first movie and he doesn't get the hockey mask until the third movie.

"You can't even be up here if you're younger than sixteen." The math ain't mathin on this one. This is her third summer in a row at this camp, and she still has one more year of high school left because she is 17 and will be returning in the fall. So she would've been at least 15 when she started - first summer age 15, second summer age 16, this summer age 17. 16 too young to visit but 17 old enough to run the camp?

1. Awfully convenient that she could send multiple texts in a row then loses connection once Bezi/Paige say yes & she confirms...just like finding the bucket of fake body parts at the Salvation Army.
2. Paige talks about them going to school in the fall, and they attend Groton High school, which means they are at most seniors. You're really telling me that a bunch of 17 year olds are unsupervised running this camp?

Not a fan so far. A lot of superficial horror references without showing nuance or understanding of them.

"Alphabet Mafia" was coined as a derogatory term so I'm not sure why that was her choice to describe the LGBTQIA community, though some people have tried to reclaim it.

I'm noticing a trend in the F.S. books thus far... This kind of infantalizing of female characters (describing them as child-like and simultaneously sexy) and having the sole motivation of the characters, especially the girls, to be in a romantic/sexual relationship.
