I literally can't keep trying to read this. The premise of this book is very interesting. But it reads like a child smashed a bunch of his dreams into a book and called it literature. The reality is Back to the Future meets Its a Wonderful Life and not in a good way.

The Pellinor series is my favorite series of all time. Nothing has ever topped it for me. This is my 3rd time reading the series as I've been in a bit of readers block after not wanting to start anything new.
