This is definitely a case where the adaptation far surpasses the original work

Really love seeing all the tiny differences in the characters and the writing is still quite funny, but Mick Herron DEFINITELY suffers from "man writing women" disease because if I see one more scene of Catherine staring into a window and being like "I am.....AGED.....I am WRINKLED" I am gonna start screaming LMAO

Genuinely one of the best non-fiction books I’ve read. I think this is the third time I’ve cried.
