Contrary to popular culture around technology & an inert materialistic worldview, Tillich pushes us to befriend a metaphysical idea known as the “ground of being”. With this as our basis of ultimate reality, our ultimate concern is re-evaluated. The result is the beginning of a wholehearted morality & mysticism & a deeper understanding of our role within the “multidimensional unity of life”.

In our techno-centric age, who would have thought that nature & its creatures still had much more insight that we ever imagined. It continues to humble our “intellectual” capabilities.

a great rational & inspirited defense for the arts’ implications on what we believe to be “justice”. Can art inform justice? Elaine insists so. I’m highly intrigued by her apology. Can’t wait to continue!
