Buch 2, die Gräber von Atuan Beginn

Ich hab heute zufällig auf meiner Straße eine Tasche von Büchern liegen sehen. Ich hab dann dieses Buch (in der älteren Diogenes Version) mitgenommen und gerade das erste Kapitel gelesen. ICH LIEBE ES

Buch 1, Ein Magier von Erdsee beendet. 4.5 stars

Pflichtlektüre für Q1, Grundkurs Deutsch. Ich hab sowas von keine Lust darauf... Was ich nicht alles tue um ein perfektes Teachers Pet zu sein

I have to read this for school so I already hate it with every fiber of my, admittedly short, body

I wasn't aware that rape/child rape/sexual abuse was such a big topic in this and got shocked by the first pages

How to get out of a reading slump 101:
Binge read graphic novels or way-too-angsty romance books

I'm not even 30 pages in, but I already KNOW it's gonna be a 5 star.

Also, I'm actually reading a different edition (the Puffin Classics one, very gorgeous and readable) but goodreads didn't recognise it

After a long time of just ignoring this because I
A.) Got bored
B.) didn't have the brainpower to read this

I finally reached Part II!! Just some pages ago the author was like "Oh yeah I talked about a lot now and I have so MUCH MORE to talk about, but for now let's start with the main story ;) Because all of this until now wasn't relevant;)))"

Anyways I'm hoping to finish this by the weekend, so 2+ chapters/day

I'm currently in a very, very weird state where I am absolutely unable to read any new book (just the thought makes my brain go sluggish) but I will very gladly reread 150k+ words long fanfiction (>500 pages).
But I'm hoping some easy Leav will slowly put me back into being able to read new things

Pleasantly surprised that Goodreads counts (some) fanfiction as books. If they had every ff on Ao3 I'd probably have a yearly count of 900 books

Absolutely phenomenal.
Right now I'm just kind of going through all of these poems once, but I definitely want to reread this to properly annotate and "analyse" it

I usually like to let some time pass before reading the next book in a series but the Lunar Chronicles has such a tight grasp on my that I can't stop.

So far it's quite cliche and predictable, but I very much enjoy it
I'll probably give this 6-8/10 or 3 to 4 stars

Band 6 angefangen. Ich bin ein bisschen skeptisch da dieses Abenteuer nicht von den Pevensie Geschwistern handelt und ich Jill noch nicht wirklich mag, und Eustace sich schlimmer benimmt als im Band davor. Aber Puddelglum ist einfach *chefs kiss*

Band 5: Die Reise auf der Morgenröte beendet :)

There are some changes in Perspektive in-between the poems. Most are in the first person Singular Perspective, but there are a few third Person Perspective poems which makes me very confused and personally disturbs my reading flow.
