Gotta be honest, I'm ready to quit. None of the characters interest me, there's no chemistry between the mc's, it's all heading down a VERY predictable route... But then the reviews are so positive!

Guess I'll forge on.

I'm thinking I was wrong about this book. It's taking me forever to get through! Nothing's really happening. And is it bad that I'm way more interested in the Manon storyline now?

Honestly, this book has been dragging for me since the beginning. I'm only slogging through it because so many friends love it, but right now I'm pretty underwhelmed.

I appreciate when a book I'm struggling with pops out a really dumb line that just seals the deal. It's nice to be able to make a clean break from a book and walk away with no regrets.

Ugh, I want to quit so bad! He's just so immature and on the cusp of being an abusive, overbearing boyfriend. The reason I haven't chucked it is all the good reviews from people who read the last book before the first two.

Not quite the same magic as Daughter of the Forest. Kind of slow-going and I'm just not feeling as connected to the characters.
