Holy shit

this book really annoyed me in the beginning bc the prose feels like someone’s piece for a creative writing class. the writing is good but imo trying a little too hard and sort of corny lol but it’s getting fun, I’m calling it camp and leaning into it!

ok I don’t normally post updates in the middle of books but I’m listening to this and like 1/4 done and I’m so obsessed and into it I love walking around nyc listening to its music history it makes me want to be part of something and so excited to be here also I heart the strokes!
