All I have to say to everyone who co.explained that the aliens method of attack made no sense is this: READ BOOK 2! Rick Yancey knew exactly what he was doing, and he did it well. I cannot wait for the final installment.

It's taking me a long time to read this book. I want to know what happens, but I'm not gripped by it. When a book grips me, I tear through it in no time. I don't think I'll be reading the rest of this series.

So far, disappointed... I like the premise and the story the author is trying to tell so far, I just think she's doing a lousy job telling it. I'm finding it hard to get into the main character's head, there is no reasoning or explanation for so many things. All of a sudden, he's communicating mentally with this girl, but takes it all in stride? Yeah, right. But I shall press on, hope it gets better.

This is an entertaining read so far with charming lead characters.
