I am cackling. Doing a buddy reread with my friends and it has been 16 years since I read this book. It is as ridiculous as I remember. (She is in love with him after 2 conversations and several broody looks), but still an easy read.

This book is so freaking depressing.

I am determined to finish this series this year, but must the story drag on sooooo much??

This book has been put on hold because it's kind of slow and I'm not in the mood. The writing is lovely.

Was just hoping to read a book without an asshat MMC, and thankfully the author has done a good job showing his viewpoint enough to make him complex, but not mean.

Isaiah Rhodes...😭😭😭 We don't deserve him, but we adore him.

I love these books, but these characters pop their shoulders entirely too much. I worry for the integrity of their joints.

Welp. I'll finish this book, but I'm just not keen on the main pairing unfortunately. Bummer.

Well, so far all the twists that I've guessed have been revealed except one. I keep wondering what all the fuss is with the ending of this book. Haha

Not sure if I can call these books a zany escape read anymore. This is like when the end of the goblet of fire happened.
I just cried like a baby reading Dungeon Crawler Carl. Shit just got real dark and real sad. 😭

These kids really love to see themselves as a true Romeo and Juliet and I'm kinda here for it.

Carl and Donut are my proverbial security blanket right now. I just need these two to get me through.

The hits keep coming for our boy Vis. What I'm really wondering is how Islington will keep the momentum of the first book.

I don't think I'm going to count this reread as a true reread, because I'm skipping over some of the Academy events that I don't think are very important, to go back and reread all the cool parts that I'm pretty sure are related to synchronous. Now that I know the ending, I need to KNOW the ending. You know?

Almost done with this bad boy. Hopefully, I'll make one more book by the New Year.

Sad to say I don't think I'll be finishing this one before the new year's end. The main character is really annoying me and this book and I are on a break.

Here we go again. I couldn't bear the thought of just watching a recap for the next book, so I'm guessing this will keep me busy till the end of the year.

This book is a surprise. I expected a straightforward story about Haymitch and everything he went through, but Collins has come up with some really interesting twists.

I'm all caught up on book reviews and now I'm listening to this because I need audiobooks while I frost cookies and I never finished this series. Also, the books are fairly short and I remember really liking them. So there you go. Just watch, all my holds will come today. ahahahaha Libby, you saucy minx.

If you love DnD or RPGs of any sort, you will love this goofy book. Imagine a cat named Princess Donut as a real character. That is all.

I had no interest in reading this yet. (I wanted to wait till book three.) Unfortunately, FOFS (fear of future spoilers) made me pick this up now. I guess we'll see if it's any good.
