Eichengreen has this great, super speedy writing style. It’s like he’s trying to get as much out before someone tells him to shut up. It works!

Gosh this is such a fun read, I’m savoring it. Only reading a few chapters a day.

I started listening to this. I'm up to chapter 5, but this is such a densley packed book of awesome that I really need to read, underline, etc. some of the political discussions are just so detailed I don't want to miss them! putting aside to finish others, then taking this out of the library.

I bet someone stole it while I was selling my house. It has such a cool cover. Repurchased and will begin again. Peerage, here I come.

This was good! I read this along with a friend who is too susceptible to conspiracy. First half is Fed history and Econ basics, my undergrad in a nutshell. Part 3 is good though. Great discussion on monetary policy theory, different targeting ideas, macro prudential etc. Enjoyable and readable. I wish everyone would read it and stop the idiotic conspiracies already, but whatevs.

I am in the process of moving and I LOST this book!! What is going on!
