Sometimes books are purely entertaining 🤷🏽‍♀️

I keep going back and forth with how much I care about these two. This is an interesting conflict for the Death Cast overall, but idk if I appreciate everything/everyone being connected as much as I probably should

We’re at war and I’m glad it’s not Rhen against Grey anymore. I’m a little worried how this is gonna play out though cause we already tried to kill this enchantress once and that was like a whole book ago

Gotta finish some of these series’ I feel like I’m in the middle of like 3 ☠️

8 is such a dick, the concept of existing outside your own consciousness is strange enough without them also having a slightly more douchey personality. Love Nasha tho, need more of her, I miss her

Alright, Lia Marra is growing on me. I didn’t think I cared about her but I’m glad she’s pulled Grey away from whatever weird triangle was forming with Harper and Rhen. Rhen still needs to get his shit together tho.

We’ve introduced new characters but idk how I feel about them yet. I like that the plot is still building beyond just the beauty and the beast thing though. We’re getting a lot of unique lore

Not gonna lie, I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I’m enjoying this so far. Trying to pace myself and keep this as something I can listen to in the car but I can’t lie, I’m tempted to just read ahead and finish it faster ☠️

I’m finally feeling like I understand what’s going on and things are picking up. I think this book has some middle-book syndrome but overall it’s an easy read and enjoyable

Audiobooks from Libby lowkey sound kinda crunchy but I should stop paying for Audible monthly so we’re gonna pretend we don’t hear it ✨

This book is such a chore to get through omfg. It had not picked up at all. I’m only finishing out of principle because I used Audible to help power through it. I have about the same understanding of the world as I did when I started this stupid book.

This world is so vast it’s honestly insane to me that more people haven’t picked up these books

I started this book a while ago but put it down same day because the prologue bored me ☠️ picked it back up and once you get past that part, it has nothing to do with the rest of the book and I am pleasantly surprised and entertained lol

Chat, im ngl, im so confused as to the nature of Cyrus and Alizeh’s relationship. It’s more than just hot and cold, I’m not sure I understand how I’m supposed to feel about him. Everything is weirdly cryptic to a point I’m worried if I even understand what is going on. If it doesn’t get more clear by the end of this book, I’m very worried for the rest of the series.

There are so many things happening that I don’t even know where to look. Bitches that are supposed to be dead ain’t dead no more, moons are about to fall, I think my suspicious about the rebel cause are about to come to a head

Not gonna lie, this kinda feels like cheating because I can hear all of the voices in my head. This is honestly just me watching episodes I haven’t seen, I don’t think my brain can tell the difference lol

We just love bad ideas. Bad ideas and war. Our favorite things. Meanwhile Veya, Kyzari, and Grimm just out on survivor-esque side quests.

I’m literally terrified of a love triangle forming rn. She cannot be that attractive. She’s great, don’t get me wrong but if I have 1 more male love interest swap trope in a book, I’m gonna be pissed

People who whine about this book aren’t paying attention because I’m enraptured. If you hate lore, just say that. I’m invested in the groundwork that’s being laid out and I’m far more interested than I thought I would be

The angst is killing me im on the edge of my seat. Out of all people the traitor sabotaging the alliance being Haxaya? Completely threw me for a loop. It does show a lot of humanity for Liraz though and I’m interested to see how she changes throughout this book. I feel like I’ve read a lot but also like we’re still just getting started
