Moving at a pretty swift pace honestly, I’m interested that the younger generation are all some kind of rare kind. Fairykind/Handmaiden to Fairy Queen, Shadow Walker, Dragon Brother. I think we’re building up to a genuinely interesting finale in the final book. I am also intrigued of how their futures will turn out if there’s an epilogue.

Magical dragon boy’s dad was eaten by a dragon, the fairies are evil, we’re hanging out with cool native Americans. I still wanna know what the Sphinx is planning because I’m lowkey confused for the end goal

Scandalous, I love it. Also we are not scared enough that the Jabberwok is just out and about snatching people up. I have a weird feeling that Peter Peter is only kind of involved. Feels like we’re supposed to think he’s got more to do with it than he does. I know your tricks, Meyers

I think I’ve seen spoilers for this book but I’m gonna live in Lala land and pretend they do not exist. We do not get with the weird little king guy, we’re gonna ride into the sunset with Jest, obviously

There are a few things and references in this book that have been lowkey doing a double take ngl. Still good but just 👀👀

Omg we’re in love with the prince and I didn’t think I would care but it is written soooooo cute and I love it. Their interactions are so genuine and I think that it is so well written. We’re also still cursed but lowkey a lot of people are getting cursed so wtf

Very different from the movie and I never realized growing up how young 16 is to be doing all of this questing and falling for the prince stuff. She’s got a knack for languages though which is super fascinating

Creepy little scientist man giving me conflicting feelings about Eli. Did he deserve to be vivisected while wide awake…kinda, yeah bruh. Was it horrific? Also yes. Now you’re fired and gettin other hoes, not cool. Learning about EON was so interesting ngl, I don’t love Eli but the backstory was so top tier. Undercover psychopath too is wild.

I knew something was gonna go wrong. We can’t have shit in the world. I also knew that Victor cared, that faker. I’m already terrified of Marcella, ngl.

Honestly, I could sit and finish this book right now but I would not sleep and I would be miserable tomorrow. I am struggling to put this book back on the table rn. Boutta be one of those obnoxious “id rather be reading” hoes

V.E. Schwab, I was unfamiliar with your game and I apologize. I am absolutely devouring this book. Oh my god, the writing, the pacing, the drama. I’m sat. Give me 10 more and a tv show. All of the characters have such depth of emotion and I am literally on the edge of my seat every chapter. 10/10 so far.

Is it poetic justice that no one wants to read this fucker’s book? Yes. Is he being a whiny little bitch about it? Also yes. He’s so wishy washy in this book and I just want him to die already. The fact that we have once again confessed to the murder of 9 people to someone and still have like 200 pages to go. Dear lord.

Joe has got to be the luckiest mofo on the planet and I can only look upon and pray on his downfall. Bro ALMOST killed an innocent gay man because he made up this whole thing in his head to justify it. Successfully killed his mentor who was a fraud. Now is getting looked at a little too closely because Bainbridge (setting of last book) is under the scrutiny of a murder podcast. Stupid asshole

Dear God, let this final book out Joe Goldberg out of my misery. We’ve already started out weird and meta for some reason. He is no longer scary, he just makes me uncomfortable.
