Finally on the offensive. I feel like the past few chapters I just couldn’t put it down. Omfg the trifecta, omfg Riga, I want something I know to be true to be confirmed. I am on the edge of my seat rn

This books just keeps dragging on. We had sex, it was disgusting. I don’t know if I like the structure of this book with the insertions of flashbacks, sometimes it’s hard to tell where the dialogue starts and ends. I want to care so bad because this is an important book but god is it dull.

This books is addictive. When I’m not reading it, I’m thinking about reading it. I have so much second-hand anxiety for the characters because they’re living under constant surveillance, some of this shit they think they’re getting away with I have a feeling is gonna bite them in the ass.

If you told me before I picked this up that the original characterization for Daphne was a “not like other girls” girl, I would never have picked it up. I’ve DNFed too many books this month though so I’ll just suffer through ☠️

When I tell you my jaw hit the floor when Seth’s dumbass healed that demon just for it to immediately betray him and steal all of the damn artifacts. I almost had to throw this book across the room. This boy don’t learn. Everyone is trying to make him feel better about it, absolutely not, the world is ending.

Final book to the first series I’ll finish for 2026. Genuinely surprised and impressed by the content and world building of this series. I think people are missing out on making this into some kind of visual media.

Moving at a pretty swift pace honestly, I’m interested that the younger generation are all some kind of rare kind. Fairykind/Handmaiden to Fairy Queen, Shadow Walker, Dragon Brother. I think we’re building up to a genuinely interesting finale in the final book. I am also intrigued of how their futures will turn out if there’s an epilogue.

Magical dragon boy’s dad was eaten by a dragon, the fairies are evil, we’re hanging out with cool native Americans. I still wanna know what the Sphinx is planning because I’m lowkey confused for the end goal

Scandalous, I love it. Also we are not scared enough that the Jabberwok is just out and about snatching people up. I have a weird feeling that Peter Peter is only kind of involved. Feels like we’re supposed to think he’s got more to do with it than he does. I know your tricks, Meyers

I think I’ve seen spoilers for this book but I’m gonna live in Lala land and pretend they do not exist. We do not get with the weird little king guy, we’re gonna ride into the sunset with Jest, obviously
