I just finished Wind Catcher (Chosen Book 1).

Just finished The Proteus Cure by F. Paul Wilson and Tracy L. Carbone. Very interesting. I recommend it to readers who enjoy medical/scientific thrillers. The possibilities are so real as imagined by these authors.

Just finished a couple of mysteries by the author Jerusha Jones: Rock Bottom and Doubled Up. Great main character. Colorado River Gorge setting peopled by interesting characters. Lots of layers to these mysteries.

80% done with "The Breeders," an interesting dystopian YA adventure. Plot is fairly predictable so far, but there are some great characters. This is the first of a series, so I am interested to see how the book ends.

Finished "The Giver" by Lois Lowry last night. Thinking about teaching it this year to my 8th-graders, since we have a set of this book. However, last year, we read "The Outsiders," by S.E. Hinton. The students loved that book. I'm torn. Any thoughts?
