This is one of the saddest main characters I’ve read in a long while, and there’s something almost soothing about it that I can’t fully comprehend. What I do know is that only a Parrish book can make me feel this way, for sure.

Not that the book is not interesting… but there’s very little point to Lord H in the story other than to lust for Ross. He serves no purpose in the development of the plot but as a spectator for the spectacular things others are doing. It’s just.. weird.

Will kill for Kiem.

Sometimes I think all the stories are truly the same. Like there’s nothing new to be told, just new ways to tell it.
I like this way, tho!

So far, I'm loving the intensity...

I mean, how did I not know queer jocks are characters I enjoy? (There’s an short, angry goalie sharpening his knife right now)

It’s like… there’s nothing surprising about this, I know what’s about to happen before every turn, but I’m still utterly shattered by it. I can tell the exact shape and strength of the wave before it hits me, but it hurts the same nonetheless.
It must be some kind of brilliance, isn’t it?

I'm terribly in love with this book.

So, I'm really, really enjoying myself but I have SO MUCH criticism here.
Is it strange? probably not. It's called out to be a mix between Teen Wolf and Twilight, so... it came with the job description.

I’m surprised by how much I’ve been enjoying this so far!

I mean... nothing substantial happened so far.

The writing is just exquisite. I have to force myself to stop reading.
