This is the second time I've borrowed this ebook from the library and haven't managed to finish it before it was slurped back into the system. Hopefully it'll be third time lucky!

Big gap in the reading of this book. I borrowed the ebook from the library and read the first 300 pages or so, but it was slurped back on 20 February, before I got any further. Have now taken a physical copy out of (a different) library, and I've gone back a hundred pages or so. This isn't really the book to take a three-week break in the middle of - there's too much going on and too much to remember.

I hate Civil War. I think it's a realistic storyline, but still. I hate it.

Also, what the hell is going on with Carol's new outfit? I'm suprised her boobs don't fall out whenever she flies round a corner. I expect better of her. (Though not of male comic artists, which is the answer to my question, I suppose.)

Half way through the year (finished the June chapter) and thoroughly enjoying Amanda Owen's writing style and the tales of her farming and family life

Picked this up again as some easy-to-pick-up-and-put-down bedtime reading. It really is a pleasure to read.

Seriously. I can never read this in public. I also can't read it in bed if the husband is asleep because apparently he can sleep through me having a hacking cough but not through me snorting with laughter.

I'm less than a fifth of the way into this book and I've laughed almost constantly (and literally cried with laughter three times). I will never be able to read this book in public.

I'm really enjoying this! Someone gave it to me a couple of years ago, and I'm sad that it's taken me this long to read it.
