reading real slow coz i want to rlly engage with and know the book. i keep thinking of this one woman on tiktok saying that reading a book is like having a conversation, and that if youre going to be talking to me for several hours, im naturally going to have things to say back. so ya makes for slow reading but lots of thinking

literally leaving the hotel today so im leaving this book behind. now i have to download it on my kindle because ive gotten so far that i dont want to not finish it even though its just pissing me off

boy im not finishing this

this is my current beach read. found it in our rental apartment. just all around pissing me off but in the small glimmers underneath it all crichton’s writing style shines. wish i was reading jurassic park again

lovely use of words

i started reading this on the 10th
