The simplemindedness of seeing your circumstances through Christ, instead of trying to find Christ in your circumstances helps you remain unshaken and unwavering in the midst of unfavourable experiences.

Jesus is Mediator between God and men (the world or sinners), NOT between God and the Church (the saved).
