just when i was starting to sort of like this book i have just read the worst piece of literature i have ever read. ever.

shoutout to dr lucy burns for rebuilding how i read novels. there is so much clunky wording in this book im struggling to be immersed

back at this one because despite already knowing its a 1 or 2 star review i want to finish it

this is a book, those are all of my thoughts at this time.

There was one brilliant line in chapter 1 but i HATE the jumbled timeline. Also I don’t know if its just me but the physics talk comes off as super cheesy and surface level.

not a very promising start. saying ‘Salawa’s gift was something rare and precious’ after explaining that the gift is rare and precious does not give me much hope

I have just realised the genius of this book. Some of the prose is so long and horrifying that you become desperate for olga to interact with someone and talk to someone so there is just a little bit of space to breathe on the page
