It’s been awhile since I read the original trilogy but the conditions in this book seem a lot worse than I the original series. The comparison of the Hunger Games in this book to that of the trilogy is stark.

Didn’t much enjoy the first 2 books but this last one is pretty interesting. Nothing resembling the tv show this far so I’m enjoying that.

I’m rather conflicted about this book at this point. While Luke the premise of the book and I really enjoy the characters, this book moves along rather slowly. I mean it’s just not one of those books that captivate you and you just can’t put it down. However, I do love the rules. Some are rather mundane but others pretty dang useful or insightful. But omg it’s pace is sooooooo slow!!!!
