i think le guin would have been be an amazing horror or thriller writer bc why was i so scared of the description of plain old darkness

1. the pacing is so crazy what is going on
2. the way everyone in that castle is just tired of howl and his games but in the end it's just #foundfamily
3. never through it would be this entertaining especially bc i watched the movie dozens of times but this feels like such an enrichment to me still probably bc there is a lot more to the story

the reveal.... honestly the build up was so good i kinda was thinking about it bc she consistently hinted at it and i was wondering what the sea snakes povs were there for... the bar is so high every other fantasy after reading these books

hmmmm this is another brandon sanderson slay moment ig... it's so nice to read even tho not much happened STILL but i feel a bit disconnected to the characters but maybe that's what it supposed to feel like? cant help but compare it to stormlight and there it was either ride or die for any character
