Still bored of this, but I am determined to see if it will improve. So far, though, I don't have high hopes. This has no plot. Fine. This has no progression thus far. Okay. This isn't even an interesting character study. It's still a bunch of "friends" being determined to watch their hurt friend self sabotage as they say he needs to do something and then they sit back down. I don't know why I'm determined to finish.

A quarter of the way through, and I am bored. I know many people love this book, but I am tired of the constant trauma and the constant desire to wallow in it and watch. The trauma and inability to move on are real. I have seen this. But, this is grossly overwrought. I am sorry, but this is not for me. Jude actually seems to be in real pain and enjoying the pity he receives equally.
