this book makes me wish I believed in heaven

Time to ruin the rest of my week by rereading this in like 4 days. My sufjan stevens and gregory alan isakov listening time is about to skyrocket

Just learned that this is pretty much an autobiography☹️☹️☹️

This is already making me so sad and the sad part hasn't even happened yet

I had a humidifier on right next to me while I read this chapter and I felt really immersed everytime the swirling mist was mentioned

YAY Sarene and Raoden finally met😻 ngl that chapter had me giggling and kicking my feet a little bit

I'm very impressed with the world building but I am kind of forcing myself through Hrathen and Sarene's chapters to get back to Raoden's chapters

Had this on hold for two months and the copy I got from the library is literally falling apart so we'll see if she lasts 600 pages. The front cover is completely detached the dust jacket is the only thing holding it together

New favorite moment: Peter kisses matthew and jesus goes "that right there is the kingdom of heaven☺️" he's fujoing out

I love that the apostles are just a bunch of bumbling idiots they're so sweet it's adorable

Tentative 5 star rating incoming I can already tell!!! Thank god🙏 I needed a great book I've had a rocky start to my getting back into reading. This is literally 500 pages of bible fanfiction and I've never felt closer to jesus in my entire life nikos kazantzakis is a genius
