For a couple of years, I treated this book and the audiobook like a literary Xanax. It just would calm my soul in just the right way. Rough flight? Stressful work shift? World events making me just need a peaceful reminder of exactly how small and insignificant, yet equally special and miraculous we are? Well it’s been a few years, and I could really use that reminder again right now….

Rereading this in anticipation for finally moving onto the sequels. I think I may have been too distracted the first go-around, and just generally not feeling it as much at the time (for whatever reason). I can already tell it’s a better fit now, and am excited to see where this all goes!
