I'm giving up. I just can't stand it! I got it in audio so it may be the narrator but OMG. It's painfu.

This is my favorite book this year. I Could not put it down. It was just so wonderfully written and I just could not imagine what was going to happen next. Sometimes I was laughing out loud sometimes I was horrified. It was just amazing.. I think you should read it. And all of this coming from someone who doesn't typically read magical realism, definitely you should read it.

This book is taking f-o-r-e-v-e-r because it doesn't appeal to me. Too much rambling dialogue and the characters are too predictable. I know everyone loves this book. Just not - there- yet.
