Finished the completed book.
Wow. Just wow.
Didn't expect the emotional punch at the end. I am crying.
I love this book in its weirdness, obscurity and inaccessibility.
It is perfect.

Part 1 is done. Very good book. Most I enjoyed the chapter about the little girl but the last chapter and about Irimias and Petrina at the station were amazing as well.

I don't think I know how to read novellas. But I really enjoyed Killing Stella. Let's see how The Fifth Year does tmw...

I am blown away by my reading this year. I seem to hit a gold vein: every book I open I keep thinking to myself that this is as good as it gets.

Near perfect.

First full month done. Curious where this leads. Reading it day by day, an annular structure.

It's like seeing the world with a man's view and a child's soul. Playful, easy, terrifying. One calls this writing, too.
