Boring

Eh. It's not as good as Nora's others. Characters are pretty dull, especially Abra. It feels like Nora couldn't decide on Abra, so she is a bit of everything, making her one dimensional and flat.

I'm not sure I like Marie. She's annoying. She sounds like a much older character with her "my darling, my love". The love story side is a little ridiculous.

This book is full of self centred people, especially the people you would think would be happy to have one more day. Glynis is horrible! I'm not going to be bothered in the slightest if and when she dies. And Beryl! Is simply outrageous. I want to punch her numerous times in the face. And Shep is a complete push over, I want to punch him too just to wake him the fuck up!

Fucking hell, can someone just put a bullet in Beryl already! Poor Shep!

I'm disappointed with this book. I'll push through but I may give up.

My god this author can rant. The political and religious views of her Jackson character could be contained to a few pages, but she lets him rant on for many more. Having to skip a couple now. A bit ridiculous! I can see some storyline potential, but I'm yet to get through the bullshit.

Gave up. Not a fantasy genre reader

It was a good read up until a point. I can't even be bothered to finish, it's just plain ego boosting for the author and boring.
