Beyond words. I cannot describe what it was like to finally read this book. Though having read the Hobbit and LOTR, read The Sil simultaneously opened my eyes to an entirely new world that Tolkien created, informed my past reading, and set me on a path of discovery.

Did not love this book, so I stopped. It felt heavy, redundant, though admittedly there were some nuggets of revelation still found in it.
