Having worked at a camp with the author back in 2009, I know this is going to be AWESOME.

Book club time.

I'm enjoying this overall so far, but I am
irrationally bothered by the fact the book mentions the Hallelujah Chorus by "Mendel." It's by Handel. Mendel was a scientist!

Also, this book is set in Nebraska, where I live! :)

If anyone was wondering, here is how I rate books:

5 stars: Absolutely wonderful, really should read it again, might buy it someday
4 stars: Solidly good book, would read it again if I felt like it
3 stars: Default rating--didn't mind reading it, but nothing notable to make me give it a higher rating
2 stars: Blah/boring
1 star: Awful

This library book is so overdue... I really hope I can finish the book in the next day or so!

I really need to find more time to read...these currently-reading titles have been that way for quite a while...

I'm enjoying this one much more than the first book so far. It feels more like classic "Unfortunate Events" Snicket! The best part so far--Schoenberg cereal, "12 wholesome grains combined in a strict sequence." :D Wait a minute...cereal...Schoenberg wrote serial music...wow. Also took me a while to figure out that Partial Foods alludes to Whole Foods.
