I know that this is one of those books that is supposed to be life changing. So far, I am enjoying the story, but it’s not life changing.

Humorous look at the mess we make of grammar.

So far it seems as though this is a remix of parts of Interview with a Vampire and Twilight. Definitely different in its own way, but certainly vampiric elements from both.

So far I feel like I am reading a remix of Interview with a Vampire and Twilight. A twist on both, but with nods to those that came before.

I haven’t read any of the other novels in this series. In this way I felt I could start at the very beginning. So far I’m fascinated!

So far the writing is excellent, the story difficult. A man whose wife is in memory care. A dog that has been burned in a house fire and living in a shelter. An affair. It’s a tough one. I don’t know if I’m in he right mental space to finish this one.

Confusing at first, but then makes more sense, sorta. One of the most unusual books I’ve read. More to come.

A little slow to start, but now getting interesting.
