I love Davis’s commitment to make sure the reader is still with him. These other philosophy books I’ve read have been hard to follow and Davis keeps me with him.

However, the Ontological Argument is still hard to wrap my brain around and would best fit me to have a conversation about it.

An introduction and one chapter in and wow is this book good. I have no idea why this is labeled as a women's Christian living book, because Guthrie is helping everyone simplify and apply Revelation in an age where we love to conspiracy-theory the heck out of Revelation.

Revelation is understandable… we just need to learn how to understand the message for the present rather than the future.

So far this has been terrifying stories that help put into perspective the potential horrors of church ministry. Waiting for Shelley to explain how to manage these “dragons,” but I’m a visual learner and these stories are helping.
