Why is Haymitch so whiny?

I just think the only happy ending for me is one where Kady suffers a long, brutal death.

1. I forgot how annoying Kady is. Wow.

2. The constant resistance to quarantining and taking this virus seriously is obnoxious and unrealistic. If there was a zombie virus killing everyone, I think civilians would be happy to take serious precautions.

3. The first time I read this book was magic. And now on the re-read it’s getting ruined.

Jim Butcher has the descriptive range of a 3rd grader sometimes I swear. Like we just get the identical adjectives over and over again.

This whole Murphy thinking Dresden is the bad guy was easily the worst part of book one, so why are we playing it back for book two?? MOVE ON JIM. WRAP IT UP.
