just booked a last min trip to paris for next month so it’s time to reread this😃

fully assumed this was going to take place in the 90s and it was jarring to see mentions of social media, but im loving it

i feel like im being held hostage by the author because i hate the narration & writing style but i need to know whats happening

this is SO GOOD, but I am so much more intrigued by the 2004 pov that I am finding myself distracted during the 2024 chapters, which sucks since the 2024 chapters are so much longer lol

british slang, south-of-france setting, and thrill? HELL YES

now thats picked up, this is GOOD

I know this supposed to be a moving love story but all i can focus on is how hilariously bitchy lydia is and I LOVE IT
