A long journey but such a fascinating life and a very interesting exploration of the relationship between Burton and Isabel....long ignored or dismissed as irrelevant to his travels and writings.

Liking this book but find it better in small doses. Set to become a stoplight/quick lunch book so it may be some time before I finish. Do like that it is about the movie going experience rather than a collection of revies.

A re-read for the long drives...hope it's as good trhe second time around.

Done. Not so good. Very superficial and seemingly does not reaslize he contradicts himself over and over, sometimes within the spaceof a single page, regarding the mindset of himself and other players regarding what makes for good teammates, why he plays and how he thinks of the game and his own participation.
