I saw a review (that was how I decided to read it), and considering that the youTuber said they were gapping reading this book, it was supposed to be a page-turning one. But I was able to guess the plot twist from the very first pages (at least, I think so), and that doesn't help at all. Also, the author has a fairytale style of writing that goes according to the story, but it makes me sleep after some pages.

Ok, I get Juliette and Adam being in love. Right, Adam, I can admit defeat, you are winning me over.

Warner...he seems obsessed and creepy.

This choice has just turned interesting.

That's it? That's how Juliette and Adam almost kissed? I get Juliette. He was the only one who helped her and didn't avoid her. But Adam...if this is everything that will be said about their past together, I don't find a reason to be in love with her more than feeling identified with terrible parents. This may work better in another story, but if we compare her interactions with Warner...

Sorry, but...is there any doubt about the main love interest being Warner? As soon as Adam is not in front of Juliette, he may well not exist in readers mind, because Warner fills the space. Moreover, maybe this will age like milk, but Warner lacks ten levels of evilness to be a convincing antagonist. I get Juliette's point of view, of course, but Adam is falling very behind Warner even with the last one's cruelty.
