So im thinking, what if this whole fiasco w Leah's team was orchestrated by the Centre? Were they meant to be the subjects of the mission, not the observers?</spoiler>

Started Abyssal Zone! And I just got a theory, literally my only suspicions because there were barely any breadcrumbs for the great part of all that half I read of the book. You can only smell the bread😭 I don't know how legit it is but I'll put it in spoilers just in case in the next update
