Jesus Lila is a pathetic mother.

Don’t like the male narrator’s voice. The female narrator over acts. The book has a weird feel. It’s hard to explain…sweet romances have a “feel,” as do raunchy romances, as does literary fiction. This one has this odd way of jumping between each of these in a way that is throwing me off.

Do people ACTUALLY bite their lip all the damn time?

Omg…these two main characters are so boring and annoying.

Jesus this is boring.

Too much unnecessary filler. Way too much telling versus showing.

So much telling. I hate when a whole story is happening in the main characters head and that characters voice is blah.

Nice French accent!

Characters are both annoying.

Don’t like male narrator’s voice at all.

Characters were interesting. Writing was really amateurish. All telling and describing and NO showing whatsoever. Felt like listening to someone just describe what people were doing rather than feeling immersed in the story.

Jesus can this end already. Needed a good editor.

He smelled her juice soaked paper towels??? Um…okay

When a book opens with an explicit sex scene…I mean, I’m not a prude but it sort of feels like when a guy is moving too fast on the first date…the first paragraph talks about 10 veiny inches…can I get some foreplay please and thank you?

I had low expectations of this…but dang, this ghost of Christmas past romance is so sexy, spicy, and delightfully sweet!

Are we there yet? Starting to get repetitive midway. Also, MC isn’t particularly likable. I’m wanting a Dexter serial killer granny, not …what this is.

Omg, seriously. She thinks she is dehydrated be sure the heater was on overnight. Writing on the mirror. I hate unreliable narrators.
