I know this is geared towards younger readers but I loved these books as a kid and decided to revisit them after wanting something easy to read and having not read a book about Cleopatra before. Surprisingly engaging so far.

romance seems to have come out of nowhere- kind of rushed but im not even upset because lilly and romero are adorable and have my heart. the healthiest mafia pairing and romero is too pure for the mafia.

I’m liking it so far enough but I’m not a fan of the characterisation of Piper and the fact that Brendan keeps wearing a beanie. Beanies are not hot on men.
