Arg. I want to smack Tris so much!

You know how sometimes you read a series, and then something in it changes your perception of everything that came before it? Yeah. That's this book. <3

The only thing that sucks is I'm sick, so I only read a few pages before napping. This is the kind of book that deserves a reader pouring over each page in a way I can't right now.

Who jumps into bed with a guy you "hate" a week after him giving you your first kiss ever? Who, I ask you? Especially when he's your best friend's brother! UGH!

Was hoping it would improve. No luck--it still reads like a poorly-written self-insert schoolgirl fantasy.

Meh. I'm already bored with this. It's a cute idea, but very poorly executed. I feel like the author's pulling a Mary Sue with this, but it's so bad if might not even be intentional. Ill try a little longer--it really is a cute idea, and maybe it gets better?

No, seriously, people like this? I feel like every page is me wading slowly through a very deep pile of muck. And holy crap, I don't need to hear that "winter is coming" ever again. Eight dozen times is enough. -.-

Please tell me this gets better. I'm just not getting into this yet. At all. It's got tons of elements that I like, but ... not all of them together like this.
