Did not care for this book so I am not finishing it.

John Irving never disappoints and his books always get better as one reads further and further into them. This may not be my favorite but it is still better than most.

Am doing the audible version of "The Movie-Goer" and am enjoying the laid back approach to tense situations.

This is a bit hard to take with all the graphic scenes. Liked Mr. Mercedes better but must admit I want to know what happens. That is true of most of Mr. King's books. He is quite a storyteller.

Still going strong. It is now December 7, 1941. Mr. Farrell is a marvelous writer.

Just started "The Singapore Grip", the last of the Empire Trilogy. Am liking it.

This is my first try at a Jodi Picoult novel and I am enjoying it . I am listening to the narrative version so it is a little hard to guess at pages. About half way through. Multiple narrators are very good.

Riveting history with a definite slant. Gory details of not so long ago.

Continuing to enjoy J.G.Farrell's works.

Am enjoying this highly British humorous book about Ireland after WWI

As most of Mr. McEwan's books are, this one has multiple stories going on at the same time. Enjoying.

Having read "The Professor and the Madman" I wanted to read about the Battle of the Wilderness to learn more about the turning incident in "the Madman's" life.

Just started another Walt Longmire book. Always a joy is Mr Johnson's series.

Have just started the audible version of "The Secret Scripture" by Sebastian Barry.

After a brief vacation from this book I am reading it again and, though it may not seem so, am still finding very interesting.

Since I thought James Webb's novel about Viet Nam "Fields of Fire" was one of the best, and because he is running for president, I felt I should give his autobiography a chance. So far I am impressed.

Doing the audible on this one. Am enjoying the book immensely. The Narrator is also the author and he is doing a tremendous job. How interesting is the story behind the making of the Oxford Dictionary!

Very interesting.Just finished "The Leper's Companions" by Julia Blackburn.There is a 2 page description of life in the beginning of the middle ages in "Destiny Disrupted" that backs up her fictionalized account of life then and a pilgrim's journey. Makes her book even more thought provoking.

After reading "World gone by" and "Live by Night" it is great fun to be reading about the real beginnings of Ybor City. Mr. Lehane has done his homework well.

An old fashioned spy novel very well done even from the beginning.
