Morphy saves Diego from a cheating chess hustler, saving him from losing a bet. Grateful, Diego agrees to call the number on the lost cat flier he saved in his pocket. Wanting to keep Morphy but recognizing that the cat already has a family, trying to find him, Diego finally does the right thing.

Learning how cats communicate using everything from tail, ears, eyes, posture, whiskers, pheromones and meows! The coolest takeaway? A cat’s purr vibrates at 20-140 Hz, which can actually help heal their bones and improve density! While the healing effect on humans is inconclusive, it's amazing how mama cats use it to bond and lull their kittens to sleep. Cats are incredible!

Learned cats thrive on the 3 Rs (Routine, Ritual, Rhythm) & the HCKEGS (Hunt, Catch, Kill, Eat, Groom, Sleep) is the anchoring foundation that roots them to their ancestors. Cats are extremely sensitive to touch (Merkel cells) even out-of-place fur bothers them! They prefer small rodents (smaller than a pigeon) & can hunt 10-30x a day. Finally, they aren't nocturnal; they're crepuscular (active at dawn/dusk).

Lana’s worried that Finley would be using Ben as a rebound, but she doesn't know they’re already hooking up—I wonder how Finley really feels, does she want something serious or is he just a distraction from Colin? So proud of Anne for canceling her wedding; she deserves a partner who stands up for her! Best of all, Finley finally got the closure she needed after talking to her mom. No more all or nothing thinking ✨

Finley meeting Shannon was a wake-up call. It made her realize she’s been taking her own mom for granted. Even though her mom missed daily moments, she was always there when it truly counted and only wants the best for her. My heart breaks for Lana. I really hope she finds a place to call home far away from Shannon’s influence.

Queen Victoria's love for her cats helped popularize the shift of cats from outdoor predators to indoor companions. Even though cats live indoors with us, this doesn’t mean their “Raw Cat” instincts are gone. I’m not a fan of the breeding industry… but I’m definitely thankful for Ed Lowe inventing kitty litter! Shoutout to West Hollywood for being the first U.S. city to ban declawing in 2003! 🐾

Finley’s mom,Cat, collapses while trying to help manage the rush at the Egg. Though she insists she’s fine,her vulnerability & her body's weakness understandably scare Finley. Her mom has always been distant, a mystery; this, in some ways, has been a comfort to her. As Finley uncovers more truths about her Mom, that comfort is no longer there. "Another side of knowing a person, it turns out, can be knowing too much."

Finley is growing curious about her mom’s past after seeing old photos. On a pizza run, she meets Kathy–a grumpy former principal who is the first to say Finley looks just like Cat. Kathy also drops insulting information about her grandfather’s temper, leaving Finley confused. On the ride back, Finley admits she lost herself in her ex, Colin. Ben reassures her and encourages her to survey the damage and rebuild.

ShadowClan and RiverClan attack WindClan! After Onewhisker asks for help, Bluestar agrees but stays back (on her last life). Fireheart is thrilled to be in Tigerclaw’s first battle party, but Cloudkit’s group follows them, forcing Brackenpaw to escort the kits home. As they reach the cliff, the snow masks the scene, but Fireheart locates the camp just as the sounds of a brutal battle erupt below.

Cloudkit convinced the other kits to sneak away to hunt, but Fireheart saves the kits before they freeze to death. Bluestar warns him to get Cloudkit to follow warrior code, yet a bigger threat looms: Spottedleaf’s ghost warned Fireheart, “A battle is coming…Beware a warrior you cannot trust.” Tigerclaw is the obvious villain, but could it possibly be Graystripe?… I hope not…

Bluestar names Dustpelt and Sandstorm warriors after the Brokenstar/ rogue attack. Hopeful for a reconciliation, she sends Fireheart and Graystripe on a private hunting trip. Despite Graystripe saving Fireheart's life, he remains angry, claiming his loyalty was just duty, not friendship. It breaks my heart to see them continue to drift apart… I’m still hoping Graystripe will see how unreasonable he is being.💔

Brokenstar’s ambush fails as ThunderClan fights back. Graystripe saves Fireheart by killing Clawface, finally avenging Spottedleaf. Yellowfang defeats Brokenstar but spares his life, revealing a shocking secret that he is her son, & that Raggedstar & her were in love. Now blinded, Bluestar stripped him of his leader name & he is now known as Brokentail, ThunderClan’s prisoner.

Rowley is writing a fantasy quest about a character named Roland and his sidekick, Garg the Barbarian, who are trying to save Roland's mom from the White Warlock. Rowley wants more of a classic fairy tale, while Greg pushes for violent twists or product tie-ins to make money. Although, I did agree with Greg's critique of the damsel in distress trope. A helpless princess definitely feels dated Rowley!

On a drive around the lake, Finley’s Mom confesses everything: the lump, the denial, and the urgent need for surgery. She insists on keeping it a secret. Back home, Lana moves into Finley’s room since the couch is buried in moving boxes. After sharing the news with her Dad, Finley finds a perfect table for the dollhouse. Amidst the morning stillness, she finds a small moment of peace in her family’s new reality.
