Read aloud for students at school.

Finished the first book (Sun of Suns) in this two book situation. The world building is fantastic and the characters have me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Reading as part of a book group. A beautifully written book giving information about plants and relating her own life to the parts of the plants she talks about.

Picking this book up when it feels right and finding relevant messages to my life in the moment.

The count&Osip description of Hollywood as "the single most danger force in the history of class struggle" they describe the movies of the early 1900s as propaganda and write the during the Great Depression (time when the working class could've have thrown off their yoke /chains) they were placated instead for a nickel a week to watch the latest fantasy dangled before "them like a pocket watch at the end of a chain"
